Ralph L. Vojtecky

Age 82, of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with four nieces by his side. Ralph was born in McKees Rocks on October 24, 1942. He was a faithful Catholic, so much so that he went to seminary. When he left and started a new job, he met the love of his life, Susan, who once studied to become a nun. A match made in heaven! Ralph had many enjoyments, including watching the Steelers, playing golf (he had two holes in one!), reading, trying new restaurants, talking politics, and volunteering. Spending time with his family and friends was his most favorite activity and included planning his famous (a.k.a. rigged) Easter egg hunts, playing with everyone’s toys on Christmas morning, and opening up his garage door to welcome in his neighbors. Ralph had a generous and jocular spirit and provided unparalleled advice. An official/unofficial family poll confirmed that Ralph was the G.O.A.T. as an uncle and a human. Anyone who met him was better for it! He was preceded in death by Susan (Stern) Vojtecky and his brothers and sisters. Ralph was a past Grand Knight, Financial Secretary and faithful active member of the Bellevue Council 1400 Knights of Columbus. He is survived by in-laws and many nieces and nephews, including Marci (Vojtecky) Minear, Lisa Vojtecky, Lois Chesky, John Chesky, Daniel Chesky, Lou Caruso, Linda Caruso, Martin Vojtecky, Virginia (Vojtecky) Bernaciak, Dana (Magnone) Jenkins, Jennifer Schaupp, Robert Magnone, and Al Ladesic. Friends and family received Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am, Friday, August 22, 2025, at Regina Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption. In lieu of flowers, donations accepted at his favorite charities: Library for the Blind, Capuchin Franciscan Fathers, and Regina Coeli Parish-Church of the Assumption.
